MFW: Roberto Cavalli

Love the collection from Cavalli - working the the tough/dark look (a refreshing look after the past few seasons of romance and glamour).  Cavalli described his new girl as "She's tough, aggressive, sexy, and young, and she's going to help me fight this crisis."

Lots of pieces were grommeted and studded, giving them pattern, weight and the shine and coolness of metal.
Laced up skinny pants make legs go on forever, and love the way the rich black collars on the (amazing) jackets frame the face.
The long, sheer dresses were in a world of their own - the fluidity and movement in the fabric is gorgeous, as are the touches of metallic.
 Ps: More furry shoes!
