I have been researching boots for winter lately. I desperately want a perfect assortment of ankle boots for winter - I am totally cold intolerant, and am v prone to chilblains, so boots are a must! Unfortunately, New Zealand has a pathetic selection when it comes to shoes. So I think online is my answer..

i love the shearling ones and the fryes. fryes are so classic.
oh you definitely need something warm! Go for shearling! I am always freezing here in the north, esp. of late. My outdoor uniform is my canada good down jacket and my ugg versions of Sorel boots- they are more "feminine" in the cut and super warm!!! but i reckon they'd be too warm for south pacific winter;-) But something shearling lined would be perfect, i think.
