It seemed like immediately after Alexander Wang's fall 2008 collection walked, girls across the city took shears to their panty hose and stopped washing their hair. After his spring 2009 show, many also probably contemplated sitting in the bathroom with the shower running on hot after getting dressed to get that just-walked-through-a-sauna look. After his fall 2009 show, we seriously contemplated cutting holes in our blazers and cocktail dresses.

I think it'd be pretty awesome to go around with a big-ass monkey on your tshirt - talk about in your face. Would love to see peoples reactions to it. Would def wear this with my leopard-velour jacket. I want the chimp! I love you Mr Kane.

Chloe Accessories: Spring 09

I wish this was what it looked like when I toss my bag and shoes of when I get home. Although I do have a (faux) fur throw, I think it helps that the accessories are all ridiculously beautiful Chloe pieces. Im adoring the quirkiness (and uber wearability) of solidly sensible nana bags at the moment - but executed with quirks like hardware and interesting fabrics and colours.

La Chanel Rose

Although Chanel IS black and white - especially black when it comes to the iconic 2.55 bags - I do love a baby pink Chanel anything, soft and feminine. And the girlyness contrasts with the classic primness that is one of the key features of the brand.

L'Hirondell

I love Anja Rubik, but much prefer her in editorials than on the runway - and heres a perfect example why..

The blonde mop and endless tanned limbs are perfect - especially here. I've been coveting crisp white origami dresses ever since seeing the one that Stella McCartney showed for Spring 09. Love the cut outs and patterns of the second shot, rendered perfectly in a nude palette.

God I love Alexander Wang's Spring 09 collection. Sexy grungy athletic perfection. It doesn't get much better than a fringed leather sweatshirt.. Seriously. Except maybe if its on Karlie Kloss.

Rope Is Closer!

Excite! Although it's sold out at the mo, there are more of the insane ropes (that I've already raved about) on their way to Karen Walker stores!

I called up the fab Scarlet at the Nuffield Street store this evening and put my name down. Can't wait! Im thinking I want the longer/bigger one most!

Rope Around My Neck

When I was at work on Friday night last week, a girl came into the shop with one of the insane rope necklaces from Karen Walker's The Believers collection on - and it looked amazing. And I told her so, semi-embaressingly gushing.

Im fully regretting not purchasing one of these (she said they were now sold out). I could settle with one of the hair ties... But its just not the same as a big, intense rope necklace - that I'd def wear with everything. God I want. Oh well, have learnt my lesson.

MFW: Iceberg

ICEBERG

The collection from Iceberg had some really interesting pieces; knitted jackets that looked like scales, snakeskin, overized and lumpy pink knits. 

 However nothing beats their Spring 09 collection. I die for that - it's one of my favorite collections by anyone ever.

Net-A-Porter: Stella McCartney

Net-A-Porter has some new pieces from Stella McCartney's Spring 09 collection. J'adore!!! The dress on the left is mind blowing, and I think the second two pieces are so wearable. Im a sucker for oversized cashmere, and a sequined tank like that I would literally wear with EVERYTHING.
