Somehow Carmen Kass always manages to do tanned and beachy without ever looking like a cliche blonde. I think maybe its her sharp, linear features. I love the combination of the blindingly white denim, life-worn tan leather and the slick metallics of the sequins and aviators.

Magnus In Miami

Love the colours here - bright blue, the creamy outfit on a blonde and all washed out and sunbleached. So makes me think of summer, sadly ours is long gone. At least we can enjoy it vicariously (and jealously) - I always look forward to seeing what everyone in the northern hemisphere is doing. When we were in summer I was longing for massive chubby knits, ankle boots and a million layers. Go figure.

I love love Sunny-Sunday afternoons relaxing at one of my local beaches. Feels like I could be anywhere ("Bermuda, Bahama...")..

... Was lovely to do after my sunday afternoon run - so nice to run in the hot sun now its summer! Feels so healthy. And came home after the beach and had cold sweet pineapple and an icy coke. Aah j'adore summer!

Creamy

I still sooo want a cream/beige blazer! And still cant find one (other than online)... It would be the perfect investment for summer - light, feminine and v much channeling The Great Gatsby. another small problem, my drink of choice is Pinot Noir (my white jeans and tees have had many a run in with red wine in their time). Will def keep searching though!

Someone You Really Love

This is one of my all time fave "Beachy" editorials. Unsurprisingly it's from Russh (lol I am a tad predictable).

Gorgeous Shanay Hall. Love the metallic coloured lens sunnies. I so want to get pink highlights in my hair, and I couldn't care less that its impractical to wear Docs and fun fur to the beach! This is perfection.

Im getting rather attached to these shorts! Todays outfit made me happy. Was lovely chilling in the sun (finally!!!)! 

One piece is Something, Shorts are vintage Levi's customised by moi, belt is vintage (merci Mama!) and cardigan is Country Road.

Soak Up The Sun (and the Malibu)

Pool party today! The weather couldn't be more beautiful too.  Can't decide what to drink however, do I go with Coke&Vodka, or Malibu&Lime on ice (best drink EVER! Malibu on ice, with a squeezed lime wedge, and a splash of lime. So yum and refreshing - looks tres stylish in a crystal tumbler too!)

I'm going to a pool party on sunday!! First swimsuit occasion of the summer - c'est bien! Cant wait. Friends, sun, swimming, drinking = tres fun! I definitely want something v cute and summery to wear - am thinking new one piece, bleached cut offs and little apricot cardigan? Def wearing flowers in my hair (mainly as I am to poor to buy the hat I want) and lots of jewelry! Cant wait! I love living the summer dream!

Make Play While The Sun Shines

Daylight savings calls for "civilised" evening social fun! Balmy warmth and dusky sunlight are perfect for sunglasses-heels-sequins combo. Messy, sexy beach hair is just a given. And it's a million times more fun to dress up in your glads when the suns still out (who needs such boring, civilian things like jobs and commitments)

Personally, I have been hibernating and living the hermit dream for far too long. Def need to get back in the fast lane! My poor sequins and velvet are dusty.
