The new Karen Walker Eyewear collection for Fall 09 has just come out and is up on their website - but a few days ago I found (and fell in love with) this pair in tortoiseshell in a shop in Ponsonby...
... I love the retro quality, and the metal details - I'm somewhat over all the big heavy frames (lately I've been thrashing my faux-clubmasters - so much so that I think I'll invest in a real pair). They just seem a bit more interesting and refined.The rest of the eyewear is great too - lots of black, tortoiseshell and metal details (veering away somewhat from the candy brights of the past few collections. And I love the use of the vampire teeth in the shots!
