New Goodies: Tv and Tweed

Picked up my Tv leopard merino leggings from Black Box yesterday. They are HEAVENLY. So unbelievably warm and comfortable - and surprisingly super wearable. The colours of taupe, grey and black means they go with pretty much everything.

On a cheaper note, I hit up my local salvo shop as well and got an amazing purple/grey/tan tweed oversized blazer for a cool $10. Super comfy and warm and with magically deep pockets. Handbag not required.

And I know these will def not be to everyones taste (my lil sister grimaced when I pulled them out of the bag) but i love these. Super cute!!! V similar to a pair I had when I was a kid. And $4... So I could not say no. 
Have been loving socks lately too - they are keeping my poor scrawny midget feet warm!

Resort 2010: Burberry Prorsum

Every season I love Burberry a little bit more - especially the softer, earthier silhouette and fabrics that Bailey has been doing the past few seasons. These looks from the Resort collection are outstanding. Amazing, all white outfits that don't look prissy, high maintenance or clinical. Quite the opposite. The jackets are amazing as well. Don't even get me started on the gorgeous socks/heels combo - I'm pretty much obsessed with socks at the mo - have been wearing them with everything.. Much to my little sisters dismay.

RAFW: Kate Sylvester & Antipodium

KATE SYLVESTER

Kate Sylvester's "Take A Hike" collection was, by all accounts, a slam dunk for the kiwi contingent over at RAFW. Looks I loved most were the ones that stuck to a pastel palette of khakis and pretty baby blues and pinks. Who'd have thought that khaki shorts could actually look covetable? Also love the Props to K.S. Love the knitted shorts in the second look - Ive been nagging Mama for months to knit me a pair, so will def up my game. And the pants/socks/whatevertheyare combo in the third shot looks amazing. Want some! And the harness-y things the models were wearing are super cute to!

ANTIPODIUM

Love love Antipodium's collection - grungy/sexy/frumpy/boyish. All these pieces are pretty much perfect;  loose tanks and singlets, bike shorts (I've been addicted to my short ones all winter, now wanting a longer length pair after seeing this look)...

.. And lots of sexily baggy (and perfect blue) denim - who'd have thought? And that socks and sandals could look super cute?! Thats a look thats been growing on me lately thanks to some collections, editorials, and Chloe Sevigny at Coachella.

Bless Our Little Cotton Socks

I really want to try out socks. Seeing as it's summer, I've bought white cotton ankle socks. Am going to wear them with either my ballet flats or my t-bar wedges (black or tan pair). Definitely don't want to look to young/girly/etc so will have to toughen them up a bit. It's such a cute look though. And I love the thick woolly socks here - but will have to wait for winter probably. Russh always does both styles really well - so will def have a flick through all my back issues for more styling ideas.
