13/04/09: Street Style

I love that black furry hooded jacket - so so cosy. Wish mine had a hood! May have to search for a furry friend for mine. Also coveting the bi-tone tights a la Chanel Fall 08. One of the girls at uni got a sweet pair of bi-tone leggings from the tres cute Oui Boutique in St Kevins Arcade.

Rachel, Alexa and Jennifer

Rachel Bilson and Alexa Chung both looking amazing (as always) - particularly Rachel's jacket.
And these are Jennifer Connelly's lucky feet clad in Balmain perfection...

Lover's Sacred Hearts - FINALLY!

As I've mentioned already, I have been insaaanely looking forward to Lover's new collection "Sacred Hearts" ever since this image appeared on their website in late December...
And then today, their Facebook page notified me that the new collection was up on their site! It literally made my day! They even have a school crest/badge - too cute!
Key picks (wants... NEEDS!) are a straw boater hat, dungarees, duffel coats, and sailor shirts. And omg I actually really want grey marle trackpants to wear for good?! Am I far to easily influenced?

The following are the looks from the Southern Hemisphere Winter lookbook...

And these five are from the Northern Hemisphere Summer lookbook...

The Vine has an interesting interview with the amazing pair behind the label, Susien Chong and Nic Briand, about their work, inspirations and the new collection.

Audrey Kawasaki

I've just discovered a new fave artist, Audrey Kawasaki! Mama sent me link to an article about her from The Vine (bless her, she knows just what I like!). Her work is gorgeous - ethereal, delicate, pretty, a little dark. Apparently she is a fan of Gemma Ward - something thats evident in her wide faced, elfin/alien beauties.

I love seeing the drawings and workbook pages behind an artists work. Hers are equally beautiful...
