Chanel: Pre Fall 09
What economic recession? Kaiser Karl staged a full scale runway show for his pre fall collection for Chanel. Inspired by Russia (from one of Cocos men - Grand Duke Dmitri Pavlovich) Lagerfeld draws from folklore, Ballet Russes etc.
Im so wanting the cream fur trimmed coats (with matching boots! Tres winter appropriate - especially for Auckland). And the headpieces are to die for. The whole collection is perfect for swanning around the winter palace! Sigh.. Dreaming of Anastasia and the Romanovs right now. Definitely want to read The Bronze Horseman again too!
