3/05/09: The Cobrasnake

Im still coveting that cropped leopard print Adidas tee - have been searching for the perfect vintage-logo one for ages. Also on the Search List is a soft, faded denim shirt - proving nearly impossible (its my Golden Fleece

25/04/09: Street Style and Bloggers

Im loving seeing all the fashion coming out of the Northern Hemisphere as they transition into spring and summer - I'm always jealous of whatever season they are having, probably because the bloggers, streetstyle photogs and fashion mags make it look so appealing. When we were in the heat of summer I was lusting after army jackets, fur gillets and thigh high boots. So I pretty much torture myself year round. Clever.

20/04/09: Cobrasnake

Loving the new shots on trusty old Cobrasnake from the Jeremy Scott for Adidas do. So much sick leopard print - particularly love the male cardy paired with gold chains, and Zoe Kravtiz's everything.
And as usual, Tallulah looks fab. Cropped black tank with leopard adidas logo is pretty much perfection. Def going to invest in one of those - wonder if the range is coming to our little corner of the world?

Every Silver Linings Got A Touch Of Grey

Love a gorgeous grey fur - some of these are super sleek and some more shaggy. Looks perfect paired with plimsolls or a 2.55, unfortunately only one of which is in my wardrobe.

XY

Some of the males in my life have been nagging my to do more menswear - which I really should, as one of my goals when getting dressed in the morning is "do I look like a really wierd-but-coolly dressed boy?". So all the fellas here are sartorial inspiration for both myself and males in general. Love the guy on the left with the denim vest and grey/brown pants (do I really need another pair of jeans? Maybe...). Have been coveting a sheepskin lined jacket for ages, and a kimono jacket even longer!

03/04/09: Street Style

You can never go wrong with an oversized pale blue shirt (this looks has been ingrained in me, the father has been wearing this my whole life). Love the matelot stripes + Chanel 2.55 + Louis Vuitton Spicies. And those girls make me contemplate a thick fringe.. They look tres cute! Sadly I look horrific with a fringe! Shall just admire I think.

17/03/09: Street Style

This is insane. Im loving shredded/laddered things right now - and this red jumper is perfect. And the holey top skirt? Dragged through a bush and looking so good.

Ohmygod. I die for these. So fragile yet so strong and sexy.

8/03/09: Street Style

New and old: Brand new Isabel Marant boots and Poly sporting a Fall 04 Balenciaga coat (probably one of the best coats ever. And how cute is Sasha. Seriously.

More great coats - particularly love the layer on the girl second from the left (union jacket shirt tied around the waist? Amazing) and the girl on the far right - it's undoubtably freezing but she's toughing it to show kneecaps and a bit of midriff.

Ps: I am so desperately wanting floral docs its no joke. Love this shot from The Sartorialist. And saw a pair on Zippora Seven at Zoo Music last night - jealous.

No5 - Tallulah

Frockwriter has a preview of one of the two covers of the fifth issue of No magazine - this one of the gorgeous and inimitable Tallulah Morton, shot by Mark "The Cobrasnake" Hunter. Can't wait to get my hands on the new issue - they keep getting better and better! Takes me forever to read as every article is great, but thats the beauty of it.

Sequins + Denim = Always Gold

I die for this girl's top. Low back, sequins, long sleeves and denim go together so well - all balance each other out.

XY

Love this look from Gareth Pugh's Fall 09 Menswear show in Paris.

And Kanye gives me another reason why I NEED a velvet jacket.

Black Lip

Wow - this is the first time I have seen a black lip really work in real life. I think the sharp black bob really helps (could a blonde pull this beauty look off?) and the fact that its paired with a simple, loose white tee

It's a very wearable interpretation of the insane makeup look from the Yves Saint Laurent Fall 09 collection.
